Nintendo WII MII’s Are The Best! But they Need to Interact More!

JEWELZ HAND.jpgOkay,  How could I have so much to say about video games these days?

Well, my kid has been playing Playstation since he was 6 years  old.   I have watched  my son  and I have played for hours.  So  I am not an expert, but you might say that like all young teens —  my son is.

The Nintendo WII is my son’s new game system.  He loves that system.  He still  wants  an  XBOX 360!  I will wait to purchase it.  Right now it is too expense for a poor single parent like myself.

There are little people inside of the NINTENDO WII CALLED MIIS…LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THEM:

THE MIIS ARE CUTE….I HAVE MADE SO MANY VARIETIES OF THOSE LITTLE PEOPLE AND NAMED THEM AFTER PEOPLE I KNOW.  The MIIS  are funny because you can  create them by picking clothing color, complexion, weight, height and facial features.  The bonce out to the “floor” and start to mingle with all of your other created people.  They look at you, and each other.  They have these silly “know absolutely nothin” looks on their little faces!  They are so cute.

You can click on them individually and they stop walking and then turn around and look at you and his or head gets big so you can really see their facial expressions!  That is so funny!

Sometimes they look  a little annoyed because you are stopping them from walking….I guess.

I like that part of the WII MIIs!   I want them to really interact…like talk out loud and eat, or cook food, or go to work….real interaction!

I hope they develop that trend over the next year!

I get a real kick out of them.  I noticed that the hand control for the WII has a heavy vibrate and it seems good to hold –not slippery.

My son has told me that the swinging motion on the WII for the sports was good.  He played the tennis  and  golf.

My son also received the Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess which has a lot of scary ugly monsters that poor Link has to destroy.

The game is almost like a interactive movie.

There are parts when Link as the dog carries his shadow friend to save her life and meet with Zelda the Princess and get renewed life.

This part of the game is almost like a movie.  I actually felt tension while watching my son play it.

My son loves the DragonBallZ Budokai Tenkaichi that he received for the holiday also– for Playstation2  He loves the fighting.

When his friend Brian comes over to play they always use the “hyperrush”  and shoot beams at each other’s character.

This is the Japanese Anemai.  It is rated Teen and made by Atari.  I paid about $40.00.

Another interesting type of video game for GARAGE BAND thespians is called FUNKMASTERFLEX MUSIC FACTORY —only cost $10.00 at GAMESTOP in GreenAcres Mall,  Valley Stream!!!!  It even came with a USB PORT MICROPHONE…WOW!

My son “played” that and created  two songs so far.  The music styles and beats that are in that system like TECHNO,  JAZZ, FLUTES, ORGAN RIFFS!

This was a gift my son told me he did not want…yet he is here right now playing this game.

It is not a game to me…it is more like music production.  There are various sounds that you can choose from to create your own sound and musical piece.

My son said that in his school,  World Journalism Prepartory they are working on  powerpoint presentation on the Supreme Court.

He was introduced to Garage Bank Production with MAC computer and that he was required to make a piece of music to accompany his powerpoint group presentation.

He was having a little difficulty.  But when he began using and playing the FUNKMASTERFLEX MUSIC FACTORY–he had so much fun and he said it helped him to understand how to use the MAC computer  Garage Band at his school much better.

—-SEE!  VIDEO GAMES DO HELP KIDS IN SCHOOL!

DON’T TELL ANYBODY I SAID THAT!

Alot of educators would probably disagree!  I might have said the same thing myself–except for this recent experience with the FUNKMASTERFLEX MUSIC FACTORY!

TILL NEXT BLOG!
